User tip #1: Sell enhanced (logo) listings in the show guide

Here's a great way to generate ancillary revenue using myshowguide's logo upload capability. If you don't already publish your exhibitor's logos for free in the show guide, you can include an offer on their update form, and capture the logo at the same time they submit their information for the show guide. Here's how:

1. Edit the Welcome Message that appears on every exhibitor update form (go to Event tab, Edit your event-->Instructions tab).
2. Add a section to your Welcome Message that says something like: "New this year: enhance your show guide listing with an affordable full-color company logo! Reasonably priced at only $____, all you have to do is upload your logo on the form below. We will contact you with the payment details."
3. Next turn on permission for all exhibitors to upload a logo (go to Exhibitors-->Exhibitor Tools, and click on "Allow logo uploads"). This will add the logo upload section to every exhibitor's update form.
4. Now click on any exhibitor's updatelink to see what their submission form looks like, and edit your Welcome Message as necessary.
5. That's it! Now periodically check who has bought a logo listing by going to the Exhibitors-->List of Exhibitors, and use the drop down menu to View "Exhibitors with logos"
